Brisbane based firm Eaglegate Law have made the move into a second-life spec fit out in 26 Wharf Street, taking on 138sqm in the low rise of the building.
Eaglegate went through a period of growth whilst working from home during the height of COVID restrictions. Having decided that a return to the office was necessary at the beginning of 2021 they wanted to move into a space that could accommodate the larger team. Eaglegate indicated a strong desire to move into a space ASAP, restricting their search to fitted spaces as there was no time to work through the process of designing and constructing a fit out.
Again reinforcing their interest in acting quickly and in the quality of offering at 26 Wharf Street after just one round of inspections the group decided that 26 Wharf Street was their preferred option. Ultimately the quality of the new foyer, refurbished bathrooms, the tenancy itself and attractive deal parameters drew them to the building.
After initially wanting to take on a short term commitment the group decided that signing for a mid-length term would place them in a position to gain a more attractive deal structure.
This lease deal marks the 7th in the building since significant works to the ground floor lobby were completed in late 2019. This is a testament to the quality of work that has been completed in the building and the competitiveness of the offering during very tough market conditions.
These extensive works were carried out by Archway Commercial Interiors. Lately the team at Archway has been back onsite and have completed another full floor (270sqm) spec fit out on Level 9 of the building. Check out a sneak peek of the space below.
